60% of US Cryptocurrency Investors Don’t Understand Blockchain Technology – DL News

According to a recent study, around 60% of US cryptocurrency investors say they don’t understand blockchain technology survey.
Language learning company Preply surveyed 1,001 people living in the United States about their knowledge, interest and experience with cryptocurrency, finding that three in five investors surveyed were unclear about blockchain, the distributed database or ledger shared between nodes of a computer network.
The survey found that 35% of cryptocurrency investors who responded were unsure of their knowledge of cryptocurrencies.
It also examined Google search volume for 29 cryptocurrency-related terms over the past 12 months in all 50 states and 181 of the largest U.S. cities.
The most searched terms were DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization), DEX (Decentralized Exchange) and ICO (Initial Coin Offering), and there was greater curiosity about cryptographic acronyms and abbreviations than complete words and phrases.
Florida, Washington and California were the states with the most people searching for cryptocurrency-related words and phrases.
Of those surveyed who had not invested in cryptocurrencies, 54% said they were interested in learning more.
