Bitcoin and Ethereum Prices Ride a Roller Coaster as they NOT Continue to Rise 18%

Cryptocurrency prices today continued to raise eyebrows across the industry at large. Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) once again showed volatile price movement, while altcoins also traded mostly in the red. The global cryptocurrency market capitalization fell by 1.40% to $2.54 trillion in the last 24 hours. Additionally, the total cryptocurrency market volume over the past day saw a decline of 9.30% to $82.63 billion. However, Notcoin (NOT) continued to pump, defying broader market expectations.

Bitcoin price

The flagship cryptocurrency, BTC, showed a mostly red trading session today. The price of BTC

Interestingly, major meme-themed cryptocurrencies such as Bonk and PEPE have also seen notable declines, emerging in the list of top losers.

Bitget Token (BGB) the price rose 7.75% to $1.32.
Arweave (AR) the price rose 6.09% to $40.72.
ORDER the price saw a 3.99% increase to $43.22.

Bon (Bonk) the price corrected by 11.78% to $0.00003734.
Pepe Coin (PEPE) it slumped 7.96% to $0.00001507.
Book of Memes (BOME) saw a decline of 9.43% to $0.01427.
Ondo (ONDO) fell 7.03% to $1.18.

Looking at the hourly charts, one can see that BTC and ETH have rebounded by 0.33% and 0.30% respectively. Meanwhile, despite the recent turbulent performance of the cryptocurrency sector, US Senator Cynthia Lummis said cryptocurrency the assets remain destined to become an essential part of the national economy if people fail to capitalize on emerging markets.
