Bitcoin (BTC) hits one-month high, reigniting talk of another record high
Bitcoin has surpassed $67,000 for the first time in over a month, reigniting speculation that the largest cryptocurrency could soon hit new record highs amid optimism that a second Trump presidency will be beneficial for digital assets.
The cryptocurrency market bellwether’s nearly 6% surge to $67,434 on Friday helped lift the fortunes of smaller tokens such as Solana, Dogecoin and Avalanche, which rose more than 3%. Bitcoin hit an all-time high of nearly $74,000 in March amid optimism about demand for U.S. exchange-traded funds that were allowed to hold the token directly for the first time.
