Bitwise Launches New Ad, Suggests Wider Blockchain Adoption
Asset management company Bitwise has released a new announcement illustrating the growing adoption of blockchain technology. Over the past two years, blockchain and cryptocurrencies have seen wider mainstream adoption, hitting untapped markets. This has led assets like Bitcoin to reach all-time highs.
Bitwise Announcements Show a Shift Toward Blockchain Adoption
In a June 27 commercial, the investment firm portrayed two people, a young crypto-friendly user and an older man from traditional finance. The traditional financial investor has changed his t-shirt to a pro-blockchain t-shirt, signifying the recent shift of centralized companies to cryptocurrencies. Ironically, some of these companies were once against cryptocurrencies.

“Big finance, you changed… No, I’m always like this. Do you want to go out? Wen Moon mehn. Do you even know what that means? No, I don’t know.”
Additionally, Bitwise shows the different age demographics entering the Bitcoin market as adoption soars. Rising prices and investment opportunities have triggered this wave with some not being very familiar with how the technology works. This year, Price of Bitcoin it surpassed $73,000, making new concerts before the market correction on bearish prospects.
The advertisement used the phrase wen moon, which is popular in crypto circles when users ask about the next bull run. Crypto investors and meme coin enthusiasts are often waiting for the next price surge. This phrase gained popularity in 2017, when BTC prices skyrocketed.
Bitcoin ETFs Remain in Focus
Without a doubt, the anticipation and success of Bitcoin ETFs has led to increased institutional activity in the market. Bitwise and other crypto ETF providers have created a new window for traditional companies to increase their exposure to the market. With the increase in inflows, many traditional companies have changed their position towards the market.
Last month, several firms disclosed their exposure to ETFs, signaling an increase in activity. Similarly, cryptocurrencies are now an election issue with US legislators also changing their attitude on the subject.
