BRICS will drive dollar hyperinflation, buy gold, silver and Bitcoin before the next depression – Robert Kiyosaki

(Kitco News) – As BRICS countries move away from the dollar, the US will face hyperinflation and enter a depression, making precious metals, Bitcoin and “hard assets” the only things worth holding, according to the famous investor Robert Kiyosaki.

The Rich Dad Poor Dad author shared his latest perspectives on gold, fiat currencies and Bitcoin in an X publish of South Africa on Sunday.

“Watch and hear rumors about what will happen when BRICS nations Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa produce BRICS crypto, possibly backed by gold,” Kiyosaki wrote. “If BRICS crypto gold happens trillions in fake money, US fiat dollars will rush home to America, causing hyperinflation in America, ultimately destroying the US dollar.”

He advised his followers to “protect themselves from the falling US dollar” by buying “real gold, silver and Bitcoin now.”

Kiyosaki expanded his thesis on May 9 publish, writing that he expects not just a recession, but a full-blown economic depression. “I’m planning one,” he said, adding that while he doesn’t want that outcome, “it’s better to prepare for the worst than to live in Disneyland like most people are doing.”

“For years I could see this crisis coming… which is why I wrote Rich Dad, Poor Dad, own my business, use debt as money to buy cash-flowing assets like rental properties, save real gold and silver, and today Bitcoin,” Kiyosaki wrote. “Please be prepared and take care. It’s getting exciting.”

On a interview with Kitco News earlier this year, Kiyosaki insisted that investors should avoid all paper assets and invest in things that maintain their value.

“I’m a broken record,” he said. “Gold, silver, Bitcoin, no ETFs, [not] anything anyone can print. I don’t want to touch that. I don’t like dollars, I don’t like bonds, I like tangible assets.”
