CryptoPunks and BAYC lead daily NFT sales and put Ethereum on top
CryptoPunks topped the daily sales chart with $1.7 million, up from $130,640 the previous day.
CryptoPunks, based on Ethereum, was one of two non-fungible token (NFT) collections with more than $1 million in sales on Tuesday, on just 14 transactions, according to CryptoSlam data.
CryptoPunks’ historic sales volume reached $2.82 billion, the third-highest NFT sales volume of all time.
The second best performer of the day was another Ethereum collection, Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), which saw $1.05 million in sales.
BAYC stood at US$350,481 the day before, with the number of unique buyers increasing to 17 and sellers to 27, for a total of 19 transactions. BAYC’s historic sales now stand at $3.14 billion, the second-highest sales of all time.
BAYC and CryptoPunks dominated the Ethereum chain’s daily sales of $7.7 million, the highest volume among NFT blockchains.
DMarket fell to third place in daily sales after Trim the charts Tuesday. Its sales reached 839,582 US dollars, a drop of less than one percent from the previous one.
Other notable collections include Mad Lads and NodeMonkes, which also saw substantial daily sales. Mad Lads recorded a daily sales volume of US$800,761, an increase from the previous day’s US$543,026. Bitcoin-based NodeMonkes followed closely with US$750,024 in daily sales, up from US$672,684 the day before.
Ethereum’s Solana Monkey Business and Pudgy Penguins also made headlines with their daily sales figures.
Solana Monkey Business recorded US$656,402 in sales, while Pudgy Penguins posted US$595,679, with both collections showing a slight decline from their previous day’s performance.
New entries in the top 10 of the day include the $PMPS BRC-20 NFT collection, which climbed into the top 10 with US$551,476 in sales, an explosion of over 500% from the previous day.
DeGods and DogeZuki Collection rounded out the list with sales of US$411,440 and US$380,574, respectively.
