Mark Cuban Advised Kamala Harris on Cryptocurrencies
The race for the US presidency is heating up following the news that Vice President Kamala Harris is the presumptive Democratic nominee for the 2024 presidential election.
And while great leaders in the world of business and technology are torn between supporting Harris or Republican candidate, former US President Donald Trump, a billionaire says he was approached to talk about cryptocurrency.
In an interview this week with a cryptocurrency-focused publication Decipher“Shark Tank” star Mark Cuban said after being contacted by Harris’ team for questions that if he were elected it would be a “good sign” for the future of the company.
“I’m getting a lot of questions from her camp about cryptocurrencies,” he told the outlet. “The feedback I’m getting, but certainly not confirmed by the VP, is that it’s going to be much more open to business, [artificial intelligence]cryptocurrencies and government as a service.”
Cuban, an avid supporter and owner of Bitcoin, accused Trump-backing Silicon Valley leaders of “Playing Bitcoin.”
