OKX supports the migration of ZK token to ZKJ with a detailed plan
OKX, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, announced its support for the migration of the ZK token into the new ZKJ token, according to Polyhedra’s official token redenomination plan. This exchange will take place at a 1:1 ratio, ensuring a seamless conversion for all holders.
Exchange details
The migration process will begin on June 14 at 8:00 (UTC). During this period, all existing ZK orders will be canceled and the ZK/USDT spot trading pair will be deleted. This move is part of OKX’s efforts to facilitate a smooth transition for its users.
Once the exchange is completed, ZK tokens held by users will be automatically converted into ZKJ tokens. The trading schedule for the new ZKJ token will be announced by OKX at a later date, providing users with updated information on when they can start trading the new token.

Industrial context
Token migration is a common occurrence in the cryptocurrency industry as projects evolve and update their protocols. Recently, other significant token migrations have included transitions of popular tokens such as VeChain (VET) and ICON (ICX). These migrations are often intended to improve the underlying technology and provide greater utility and security to users.
As the industry continues to grow, such transitions are expected to become more frequent, with exchanges like OKX playing a crucial role in ensuring the process is as smooth and transparent as possible for its users.
