The Algorand Foundation (ALGO) reveals the finalists of the Change the Game Hackathon

After a rigorous two-month period of creation and collaboration, the Algorand Foundation (ALGO) has announced the winners of the Change the Game hackathon. According to the Algorand Foundation, innovators from around the world have joined forces to turn revolutionary ideas into tangible prototypes and proofs of concept.

Johanna Moran, Head of Programs and Developer Programs at the Algorand Foundation, expressed her enthusiasm: “As the Head of Startup Programs, I am thrilled with the innovative solutions and talent showcased in our second global virtual hackathon. We are also excited to announce the establishment of an incubation program to provide these promising ideas with resources, mentorship and network access for their successful transition to the next stage of development. Our goal is to transform these visionary projects into successful initiatives.”

The Change the Game hackathon offered significant prizes, with the winner of each track receiving 8,000 USDCa, second place 5,000 USDCa, and third place 3,000 USDCa. Additionally, the Grandmaster Award includes an additional 10,000 USDCa and 25,000 AWS Credits. Special prizes of USDCa 2,000 were awarded to the best AI project and the best female-led team.

Grand Master demonstration day

The grand finale of the Change the Game hackathon, Grandmaster Demo Day, is set for June 27. The winners of each path will be invited to Decipher, a 2-day retreat in Barcelona with workshops, masterclasses and opportunities to advance their business. . Here they will present their innovative projects to an esteemed jury.

1st: AIgoProtect – A decentralized peer-to-peer consensus delegation platform

2nd: Adamik – A multi-chain read-write API

3rd: Algorand MultiChain Wallet Bot – An initiative to manage and connect multi-chain crypto assets through an intuitive Telegram interface

Algorand Foundation Incubator

The Algorand Foundation also announced a new Incubator Program aimed at supporting entrepreneurs. This 8-week program will provide guidance, resources and connections to help participants achieve their business goals. The program assists in team building, ideation, and product-market fit, transforming ideas into exceptional teams ready for rapid expansion.
