Investors have poured $750 million into AI-related crypto projects this year, according to PitchBook.
While that’s still some distance from the $1.78 billion pumped into the sector in 2022, investors say the sector is on the rebound.
“There will be tons of opportunities related to artificial intelligence and cryptocurrencies,” said Cosmo Jiang, portfolio manager at hedge fund Pantera Capital, which will invest in northern $200 million at the intersection of AI and blockchain until 2030.
The buzz around AI and cryptocurrencies is palpable, and for good reason: researchers esteem that the combination will add $20 trillion to the global economy by 2030.
AI-related stocks like Chipmaker Nvidia I’m in tears, allowing the total value of AI tokens to catapult to $27.6 billion.
At the same time, market observers expect raise AND acquisitions in the cryptocurrency industry in general, it will grow this year.
Investing is a great litmus test for where investors expect the market to go next.
